Types of Grants
Donor Advised Grants. The majority of grants are sent from donor advised funds on the recommendation of our donors. Rarely the donor advisors will publish a request for proposals and publish a grant application. When they do we will post it on the homepage for you to download.

Partnership Giving Program Grants
In its 5th year, The Partnership Giving Grant Program is the Foundation's annual competitive grant program. Grantees are chosen by a volunteer selection committee using grant criteria given to them from the Foundation Board.

All nonprofit organizations in Northern Nevada that have their 501 c3 status for at least 5 years are encouraged to apply.

Grants from funds at the Community Foundation of Western Nevada support causes of every type in the Truckee Meadows and beyond.
